Utility Billing Date Change Coming Soon

7/19/2023

The City will soon be changing utility billing dates to move to calendar month billing. This will result in being billed on August 16 for service dates of 7/17/23-8/13/23 and a short prorated billing on September 5 for 8/14/23-8/31/23. Bills will then move to the first part of the month with a due date moving to the second to last day of the month (October 4 billing will be due October 30). Cutoffs will move to the the third Tuesday of each month. We understand this may result in unexpected expenses with two back-to-back billings and moving to a new schedule. If you encounter difficulty paying your bill, please contact the City at 817-275-1234.

**Phase II Roosevelt Drive Construction Project**

5/31/2023

Just a reminder, Phase II of the Roosevelt Drive Construction Project started this week and is expected to take eight weeks. The traffic plan will completely close the Roosevelt Drive from California Lane to Sunset Lane. All traffic beginning Sunset Lane is southbound only, and Roosevelt Drive is shut down to northbound traffic at Burlwood. This is always subject to change as we adapt to needs and safety measures during the project. Traffic plans are determined based on what is safest for citizens, construction crews, and staff, what is most cost effective and also easiest and safest for our DPS to enforce from a traffic safety standpoint. We appreciate your patience during these projects as we know there are inconveniences and delays. Thank you for allowing us to improve the streets in our city.
