Thursday Morning Update

Thursday Morning Update
Our public works and DPS staff continue to work around the clock to keep the city safe and keep water running. DWG is receiving a record number of calls for pipes bursting because of weather conditions. Thank you for your patience as we do our best to respond to those situations in a timely manner.
WATER: Last night, DWG began receiving more water from the City of Fort Worth. This is good news as it will help us meet the demand in our city. Please continue to conserve as much as possible to help ensure our water levels don't reach critically low levels as some other cities are experiencing.
BOIL WATER ALERT: DWG continues to be under a boil water alert. This is a result of the city of Arlington issuing a boil water alert, and DWG does receive a portion of its water from Arlington. DWG is currently not receiving water from Arlington as yesterday their system experienced increased demand resulting in a dramatic drop in pressure. DWG will send out a notice on all platforms once the boil alert has been rescinded.
Thank you to our citizens and businesses for your patience, your kind words, and for your food and bottled water donations. We appreciate you so much! If you would like to make a donation, you can give us a call at 817-275-1234 ext. 1
