Zoning Board of Adjustments

The Zoning Board of Adjustments consists of a board of 5 appointed officials and 2 alternates.  The Board is appointed by the City Council and is the final governing body on zoning.  The Zoning Board of Adjustments interprets the intent of the zoning map where uncertainty exists.

This board hears requests for variances and special exceptions to the requirements of Zoning Ordinance, and decides on appeals when it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance.

ZBA meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm as needed.
